Experience Required to pass the ColdFusion Certification Exam

Macromedia recommends that, before taking the ColdFusion Certification Exam, ColdFusion developers have at least two years of experience in programming, at least one year of experience developing ColdFusion applications, and practical experience working with an enterprise-level database server.

Levels of ColdFusion Certification

ColdFusion Developers must get a 70% or better on the ColdFusion Certification Exam to become a "Certified ColdFusion MX 7 Developer." Developers who score 85% or better become "Advanced Certified ColdFusion MX 7 Developers."

In North America, the cost of the ColdFusion Certification Exam is $150. Outside of North America prices vary. If you're upgrading your certification, you may get a discount.
